2017Portable 24-GHz 3D MIMO Radar
A K-band MIMO FMCW radar with a 90° field of view and 3° designed angular resolution in both azimuth and elevation. A non-uniformly spaced array of 16 Tx and 16 Rx antennas enables 3D localization.
2017K-Band 2D RF Beamforming FMCW Radar
The first PCB realization of short-range localization radar with beamforming capability in K-band. Achieves ±45° continuous beam steering using vector controllers with PIN diodes. Size: 11.5 × 3.9 cm, 69 g.
2015–2017K-Band Portable Multi-Mode Radar
A 24-GHz portable radar configurable in FMCW or interferometry mode. Enables localization, range-Doppler imaging, non-contact speech sensing, wind turbine health monitoring, and SAR imaging on UAV.
2015–2017C-Band Portable Multi-Mode Radar
A 5.8-GHz FMCW-interferometry radar for multi-application sensing: single/multiple target tracking, vital sign detection, fall detection, range-Doppler imaging, and wind turbine structural health monitoring.
2013–201424-GHz Radar-on-Chip
A 24-GHz radar transceiver chip in GlobalFoundries 0.13-µm CMOS. Includes LC-tank VCO, poly-phase filter, RF buffers, and a matching network for QFN package — targeting low-cost consumer and bio-medical applications.
M.S. ThesisAdaptive Beamforming Array
A “complex domain” RF front end that forms beams directly on wideband RF signals with vector multipliers, removing the need for T/R modules and high-speed baseband hardware.
Ku-Band High-Gain Horn Antenna Array
A 16 × 4 quadrature-polarized horn array for satellite communication, covering 500-MHz bands at 12.5 and 14.25 GHz. Horns and feed network designed in CST Microwave Studio.
Wideband RF Signal Synthesizer
A signal generator built from off-the-shelf parts: 150 kHz to 3 GHz in 0.1-Hz steps and −130 to +20 dBm output, with its own microcontroller, CPLD, and PC control software.
